Forest fires are a grave danger that we face in the next few weeks. It is
a dry season and for many this means that it is time to clear new ground.
Smoke can be seen in many places near the conservation site, where the
local workers are clearing the forest. Hundreds of square hectares are
destroyed by fire during each dry season. Each year more trees are
destroyed and the forest density is in great danger.
