Social, cultural and community senses have been damaged due to
the length of the civil war in Cambodia. The struggle for survival of
individuals has changed. They are now vulnerable individuals who
have to find their own way of supporting themselves. To this end,
elderly and disabled people are usually the worst off. Most of these
people have less or no external support and have lost ther place in
the normal culture. CVD aims at bringing back hope for these people
in order that they can live with dignity and be self-supporting.
